Millennials hated the Baby Boomers, blamed everything on them, but let Gen X off the hook, despite Gen X potentially being part of the problem (I don't know, that's another discussion).
But I think that Millennials, as difficult as it was to go through the dot-com bubble thrashing our parents, 9/11 sending some millennials to war giving them PTSD and worse, the 2008 unemployment, and of course the lockdowns. They're finally someplace where they can stand on their feet.
But Gen Z and Gen Alpha have no job at all. They're way worse off. So when the boomers start to die off the Millennials will be the only ones able to buy houses. So Millennials will be the new boomers. And Gen Z and Gen Alpha will call Millennials the "new boomers" or something, and hate them just as much.
